Crafted and finished by hand in our Northern Michigan studio, this is our small mixing bowl, at 2 1/4 quarts. It is wide enough for batter, bread dough, or a salad. The rim is easy to grip, and every piece carries the subtle drips, runs, and character of true small-batch pottery. No two are alike — these are made perfectly imperfect.
Glaze profile:
Outside: Clear over speckled clay, so the clay body shows through
Rim: Layered blend of Tropical Teal — hand-brushed to break and drip over the shoulder
Inside: Gloss black
Every glaze application fires differently. The unique variation on your bowl is what makes it yours. That is the point.
